Leadership Expedition

The challenging business models and dynamic organizational structures today require demonstration of leadership capabilities at every level in the organization. Every team member has to perform as an entrepreneur with a high sense of ownership and responsibility to Spacer
deliver PNL results. Organizations and individuals must take risks to leverage learning and achieve audacious objectives. Leadership Expedition (LE) is a practical solution to the aforesaid challenges being faced by the organizations.

Wilderness encounters provide a new context of self-exploration, managing uncertainty & change and building teams. Such learning experiences have profound - even life altering impact on the participants. This is what we have experienced while running outdoor Leadership program during last five years. Participants not only develop bondage with each other that can effectively be translated into team work at workplace but also learn to take tough decisions under time and resource constraints exhibiting leadership potential.

The wilderness based and extremely adventurous activities push the physical and mental limits of the participants that opens the door of inner-change and sustainable transformation. Participants practically go through a complete process of leadership in five days that some may otherwise experience in years. Participants experience, reflect, learn and apply the drawn learnings to their workplace and gain new insights that improve their overall effectiveness.

The Team: Impact’s team of management trainers, logistics managers, wilderness experts and researchers work in a highly coordinated manner to ensure that the learning from our LE program has a direct relevance with on-job application. The passion for outdoors is the competitive edge of our highly experienced and internationally qualified team.  
Integrated Model: The seamless integration of Training, Adventures and Logistics units make the program a success. This critical aspect of the program is achieved through one cohesive master plan that revolves around the personalized learning needs of each participant.

Personalized activities: Our extensive need scanning process (participants profiling, one on one interviews, input of Line Manager, input from HR) enables us designing personalized projects for each participant to help them improving their critical leadership skills.

Confidential Report: We provide an individualized and confidential report to each participant of LE. This report is a comprehensive analysis of the participants leadership capabilities, strengths and weaknesses. It helps the individual in formulating the future leadership development agenda.

How  LE Transforms

Learn to Lead: Leadership is what sets LE apart from the rest. Whether you are climbing a mountain or embarking on a new business venture, LE will teach you the skills to lead others to the top long after you’ve attended the program.

Experiential Leadership: In Leadership Expedition, we don’t teach leadership, rather the participants experience it themselves. The activities are designed in a way that each individual gets an opportunity to lead the team. The individuals going through such challenges could easily relate the wilderness leadership experience to their real life business leadership challenges.

Facilitated Review: The leadership role of each individual is reviewed at the end where the peers and Impact facilitators provide their open feedback for the leadership development of that specific individual.

Leadership Development Plan: Each individual gets a detailed leadership development plan after few weeks of the workshop. This plan is based on the research based input by the individual himself, the reporting officer, the peers during the training and by the Impact team. This leadership development plan is based on the 7- Leadership Behaviors Model of Impact.
