Dare to Change

In today’s business environment organizations are desperately searching for panaceas; but there is an unwillingness to slow down and think.  The focus is on action rather than thoughtful reflection and consequently managers find they are attracted to prescriptions and remedies to apply a ‘quick fix’ –.

The search for clarity – certainty beyond the rational - requires managers to be able to look backwards and recognize patterns of behavior. The desire to break out of existing cycles of behavior; to challenge old patterns; not wanting to repeat the mistakes of the past, needs managers to be able to step off the treadmill and take time to reflect.

We believe that to create a space to think (a clearing in the forest) as managers we also need to take time out to prepare and rehearse possibilities for the future.  This change management program is designed to help managers to be self-assured and confident and to see and understand the drivers and implications of change initiatives in relation to the internal/external environment and how to respond within it.  Further, we believe that this understanding of managing/ facilitating change combined with more critical reflective and reflexive practices of various tools learned during the course on the part of the manager, offers insights into possible new best practices in change management.

The Action Learning approach takes the participants through a complete process of foreseeing, planning, managing, and driving change in their organizations.
